Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Cosmos is operated by Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc. (“C&R”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Cosmos is a preliminary Canadian cosmetic pre-screening and decision-support platform.

We collect information that users submit through the platform, including account information, product information, ingredient lists, product categories, intended use, label-related information, claims or marketing text, pH or concentration notes where provided, screening outputs, and support requests.

We use this information to provide preliminary screening results, generate reports, manage user accounts, respond to support or professional-review requests, improve the platform, maintain records, and communicate with users about their submissions or requested services.

Cosmos results are based only on the information submitted by the user. Users are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, complete, and current.

We do not sell user information. We may disclose information where needed to operate the platform, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or work with secure service providers that support hosting, payment processing, email, analytics, or AI processing.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect submitted information. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should submit only the information needed for the selected preliminary screening, such as product details, ingredient lists, claims, label text, or relevant artwork. Users should avoid uploading highly confidential or unnecessary supporting documents, including full proprietary formula files, supplier documentation, SDSs, PIFs, or other documents not requested through Cosmos. If professional review is requested, C&R may contact the user separately to request any additional documents needed for that review.

We retain information for as long as reasonably required to provide the platform, maintain business records, respond to user requests, comply with legal obligations, and support internal quality or audit needs.

Users may contact C&R to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal, contractual, security, or business record requirements.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

By using Cosmos, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Cosmos provides preliminary Canadian cosmetic pre-screening for decision-support purposes only. Cosmos does not provide legal advice, final regulatory decisions, product approval, compliance guarantees, CNF-readiness confirmation, marketability guarantees, or Health Canada determinations.

Cosmos outputs are generated based only on the information submitted by the user. The quality and usefulness of the output depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information provided.

Users are responsible for reviewing all product information before submitting a screening. Once a screening is submitted, the automated screening process may begin and may not be cancelled, edited, or reversed for that submission.

Cosmos may identify preliminary signals relating to ingredients, claims, warnings/cautions, label-readiness, missing information, or C&R review needs. These signals are not final conclusions.

Professional regulatory review by Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc. is a separate service. If a user requests C&R review, C&R may contact the user to request additional documentation, clarify scope, confirm pricing, and determine whether the requested review can be performed.

C&R may decline, pause, or request additional information before providing any professional-review service.

Users must not use Cosmos for unlawful purposes, submit false or misleading information, attempt to access another user’s records, interfere with platform security, reverse engineer internal screening logic, or use outputs as a substitute for qualified regulatory review.

C&R may update Cosmos, modify outputs, change pricing, suspend access, or revise these terms as needed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C&R is not liable for business losses, regulatory outcomes, rejected filings, product delays, market-entry decisions, relabeling costs, enforcement actions, or reliance on preliminary outputs without appropriate review.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Platform Disclaimer

Last updated: May 2026

Cosmos provides preliminary Canadian cosmetic screening only. It is a first-pass decision-support tool and does not replace full regulatory review, human judgment, or a Cosmetic Notification Form (CNF) submission to Health Canada.

Cosmos outputs do not confirm product compliance, classification, CNF-readiness, or marketability under Canadian law. A preliminary screening signal — whether lower concern or flagged — is not a regulatory determination.

Where Cosmos identifies a possible signal, missing information, or recommended next step, this should be treated as preliminary guidance only. Users should not rely on Cosmos outputs as final confirmation that a product is compliant, approved, acceptable for sale, or suitable for submission.

Cosmos does not classify products into drug, natural health product (NHP), or medical device categories. That determination requires human regulatory judgment from a qualified professional.

Cosmos does not assess manufacturing practices, GMP compliance, microbiological safety, stability data, or supplier documentation. These factors are outside the scope of the platform.

Cosmos covers Canadian cosmetic regulatory signals only and does not address requirements under US FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, UK SCPN, or any other jurisdiction.

Outputs from Cosmos should not be the sole basis for market entry decisions, CNF filings, product launch, or public claims. For final regulatory decisions, consult a qualified Canadian regulatory professional or request professional review through Curated & Regulated Consulting Inc.

Final responsibility for product compliance, product claims, labels, notifications, filings, marketing decisions, and market-entry decisions remains with the user, brand owner, importer, distributor, or responsible party.
